QSORT 2.7 Release Notes

• This version introduces support for 16-byte Temporary Storage Queue (TSQ) names.
• Newer compilers were used to create the loadmods and phases. For VSE, IBM COBOL FOR VSE/ESA 1.1.1 was used. For OS/390 and z/OS, COBOL for OS/390 & VM 2.1.2 was used. For backward compatibility, the LE/370 from VSE/ESA 2.3 was used. For OS/390 and z/OS, the LE/370 version from OS/390 2.5 was used. Note: Your CICS system must include LE runtime support. Your operating system should be at least at the VSE/ESA 2.3 or OS/390 2.5 release levels. If you do not meet these minimum requirements, you must run an older release of QSort.
