SM/MENU 1.2 Release Notes
Released On: 03/28/2017
- Changed Group Profile parameter
"Allow AUTO RETURN exit to display initial menu" to "Exit prevents seeing a blank screen after initial menu".
With either 'Y' or 'N', users will see the initial menu when the Menu environment is enabled. The default value, 'Y' prevents a blank screen display from an application and instead displays the applicable Menu (when the Menu environment is active). 'N' allows the application to exit to a blank screen. When 'N' is selected, you can enter 'MENU' to re-launch the applicable menu anytime you are at a blank screen.
- All batch jobs now default to open for read-only to prevent contention if only list-type reports are being used
- A new inquiry API is available for SM/SWAP and SM/MENU to return MAX sessions and LogPfx. This information could assist application clean-up.
